ATF Defense Coverage

Defense Only Coverage For Certain ATF Proceedings Endorsement is the latest protection added to the NSSF endorsed Firearms Business Insurance General Liability Policy. This Endorsement will pay reasonable and necessary "defense costs" in defense of any proceeding (warning conference, revocation hearing, judicial review) coming out of any ATF record keeping or administrative action.

This endorsement specifically applies to:
• Firearms Dealers
• Firearms Wholesalers
• Gunsmiths

Under this endorsement, Chartis will defend insureds up to $25,000 against any proceeding to which this insurance applies. Additionally, Chartis will work with you to select an attorney, CPA or other professional knowledgeable in such proceedings and recognized to practice before ATF.

This Endorsement does not apply to:
• Violations resulting in criminal indictment or arising out of a criminal act
• Violations Covered by Other Sections of this Policy
• Your expenses to participate in Compliance Reviews, Audits or Inspections
• This is a policy endorsement and is only available as an endorsement to the Commercial General Liability Policy
This endorsement is not available in all states.

This is a summation of the limits, terms, coverages all of which are superseded by the actual policy when issued.
